Take Action

Your fight against Alzheimer’s might begin by contacting one of the following organizations. They’re all working to turn up the volume by increasing awareness, advancing research, enhancing care and support, and helping us reach a common goal – the day when Alzheimer’s is truly just a memory.

USAgainst Alzheimer's

USAgainstAlzheimer’s is a national advocacy campaign and independent advocacy network that shares our commitment to stop Alzheimer’s by 2020. By joining this movement, you will be working to advance policies to prevent, treat and cure Alzheimer’s disease in our lifetime.

In a January 16, 2012 USA Today story, USAgainstAlzheimer's co-founder George Vradenburg emphasizes that the draft framework released by the Department of Health and Human Services was a good starting point, but that 2025 is not an aggressive enough deadline to stop the disease.

The Alzheimer's Association

The Alzheimer's Association is the leading, global voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care and support, and the largest private, nonprofit funder of Alzheimer's research.

The Alzheimer’s Association works on a global, national and local level to enhance care and support for all those affected by Alzheimer’s and related dementias.

The Alzheimer Research Forum

Founded in 1996, The Alzheimer Research Forum is the web's most dynamic scientific community dedicated to understanding Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. Access to the web site is free to all. The Forum’s editorial priorities are as diverse as the needs of the research community. The web site reports on the latest scientific findings, from basic research to clinical trials; creates and maintains public databases of essential research data and reagents, and produces discussion forums to promote debate, speed the dissemination of new ideas, and break down barriers across the numerous disciplines that can contribute to the global effort to cure Alzheimer's disease.
